Schiaparelli once again set the stage ablaze at Paris Fashion Week, debuting the Future Vintage collection with a show that masterfully blended nostalgia and futurism. This year’s event was particularly significant, as it not only showcased the innovative spirit of the fashion house but also highlighted its enduring legacy in the industry. The runway became a time capsule, where rigid silhouettes paired with intricate corsetry evoked both ultra-modern aesthetics and a timeless, antique allure. This collection stands unrivalled, showcasing Daniel Roseberry’s extraordinary talent for creating an "essential and timeless wardrobe," one that he envisions not just for today's clients, but also for future generations— daughters and granddaughters. His ability to fuse tradition with contemporary elegance is truly remarkable.
As the creative force behind Schiaparelli, Roseberry continues to push boundaries while honouring the house's history. The dual nature of the Future Vintage collection is the perfect embodiment of both contemporary high fashion and heritage elegance. The collection is a true manifestation of the brand ethos of blending art and fashion. This year’s show was especially magical not just because of the looks showcased but also the conversations that sparked surrounding the evolution of fashion, identity and the importance of sustainability.
Runway Looks

Kendall Jenner is spotted in a nude corset-style top with a deep scoop neckline. The corset has visible boning that adds to the rigid, structured feel. This is paired with couture garde denim with an extremely low waist band that accentuates her waist and creates a dramatic hourglass silhouette. The outfit juxtaposes modern sensuality with a vintage, corseted aesthetic, a hallmark of the Future Vintage collection.

Mona Tougard is similarly seen in dramatic hourglass silhouette. The white asymmetrical polo dress has an identical corset detailing that cinches her perfectly at the waist. At the hem of the dress is a braided extension further evoking the timeless opulence of the entire collection.

Candice Swanepoel takes on a full denim look with subtle gold accents. The outfit features a raw denim halter-neck dress with a full-length front zipper, which runs down the entire length of the dress, adding an edgy, modern touch to the classic denim fabric. Following the theme of the rest of the ready to wear collection, the dress of course has a corsetry detailing that brings to life an exaggerated hourglass figure.

The runway at the Schiaparelli show was filled with breathtaking outfits that captivated the audience, but the fashion displayed in the front row was equally outstanding. Kylie Jenner, sister of supermodel Kendall Jenner, attended the show as a guest. She made a striking appearance in a stunning black bodycon dress designed by Schiaparelli. The dress featured subtle lines that mimicked the structure of a corset, adding an elegant touch to the overall look. Additionally, the contrasting white straps provided a chic juxtaposition, further enhancing the design's sophistication.

Schiaparelli continues to redefine what it means to be stylish, timeless, and avant-garde. The harmonious blend of modern aesthetics with nostalgic influences speaks to a growing desire among designers to create pieces that transcend seasonal trends, focusing instead on timeless elegance.
